Gigi Naftzger : Singularity in relationship

One way to orient oneself is by quiet, sustained looking.

At first glance one sees color and lots of it. The color fields create a restfulness that encourages one to look longer.

Looking longer encourages seeing and in seeing a new relationship with a painting or drawing occurs. Each object has new meaning in it's relationship to another.

This solo show of Gigi Naftzger's work comprises paintings and several drawings.
